Karari ERR Communal Kitchens Evac-Centers Support

Program Overview:
Our program is centered around providing crucial support in emergency situations, focusing on food assistance, logistics, and services. The activities are designed to adapt to dynamic on-the-ground developments, with a primary emphasis on three key aspects: providing food aid to families, facilitating the relocation of displaced individuals from combat zones, and addressing emergency needs that may arise unexpectedly.

Lessons Learned and Future Considerations:

Our experiences have highlighted the need for enhanced collaboration, particularly as our region serves as a reception area for displaced individuals. Future efforts will incorporate medical, psychological, and logistical support into the food assistance plan.

Actual Impact of Activities:

The undertaken activities have fostered increased social solidarity, compassion for those in need, and the strengthening of the social fabric. The Emergency Room has played a pivotal role in providing essential services during the ongoing conflict, including electricity, water, and shelter.

Unforeseen Challenges and Future Funding Considerations:

With an influx of displaced individuals surpassing 2000, the allocated funding has proven insufficient. Additional funding considerations are essential to meet the escalating challenges and address the growing needs on the ground.

Future Strategies:
To build on positive impacts and mitigate negative outcomes, we recommend seeking funding for larger projects and establishing direct partnerships with organizations. Larger-scale projects, such as the 24 shelter centers accommodating 3100 refugees, require dedicated funding without constraints from existing financial systems.
